All entries, filed by year
The archive is a simple shelf. I group pieces by calendar year because that is how I remember writing them — in seasons of weather and domestic routine rather than by theme. There is no tag cloud, no search engine optimisation layer, no recommendation widget. Six cards appear below, split between this year and last. When I publish something new, the oldest card in the current year group moves here permanently.
I prefer this slowness. A personal blog does not need to simulate a magazine feed. The essays are numbered for my filing cabinet, not for ranking. If you are reading chronologically, begin with the Chin Swee note from November and work backward through the longer neighbourhood pieces. If you prefer mood over date, start with whichever title sounds like your afternoon.
